What is Yamazaki 12 Year Old
Yamazaki 12 YO is the flagship single-malt from the historic Suntory distillery Japan�s oldest malt distillery. 
It is aged a minimum of 12 years in a mix of casks: American oak, Spanish (sherry) oak, and Japanese Mizunara oak giving the whisky its characteristic layered complexity.
ABV is 43%, bottle size 70 cl (standard for retail versions in most markets). 
Taste profile (as described by official and retailer notes): coconut, citrus/fruity (pineapple, peach, perhaps tropical fruit), gentle spice, with Mizunara oak influences. 
As a flagship Japanese single malt, Yamazaki 12 YO remains a benchmark whisky popular both for drinking and collecting, especially as availability has tightened over the years.
